‘We will wait to see results of India’s probe in Pannun case’ : US

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun case : Indian Government’s alleged involvement in the so-called conspiracy to kill US-based Khalistani terrorist

Washington DC (USA) – The US had accused the Indian Government of being involved in the so-called conspiracy to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. India had clarified that ‘we will investigate the incident’. Now the US has again made a statement regarding this matter. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, ‘We will wait for the outcome of India’s investigation in this matter’.

Miller further said that our Secretary of State Antony Blinken has discussed the issue with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, who has assured us of investigating the matter. We will wait for the completion of their probe and results.

Miller had earlier said that we cannot tolerate any form of international harassment. India should also cooperate in the investigation into the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. (India should tell the US in strong terms that it doesn’t need to be told what it should and shouldn’t do with regard to Canada ! – Editor)
