Taking Aishwarya’s name was a slip of the tongue and I am ashamed of it

Ex-Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq apologises for his offensive statement about Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq has apologised for his offensive statement about Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Razzaq apologised after he received widespread criticism from Pakistan itself after his statement was aired. Razzaq however clarified that he mentioned Aishwarya’s name due to a slip of the tongue and he is very ashamed about this incident.

What did Razzaq say ?

Speaking at an event at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi, Razzaq compared the Pakistan Cricket Board to Aishwarya saying, “If you think that I will get married to Aishwarya (Rai) and then have good and virtuous kids, then that can never happen. So you have to correct your intentions first.”

Editorial Perspective

Giving silly excuses like slip of tongue is nothing but a lie. Every Indian knows that the real reason behind such statements is hatred towards India and Hindus.
