Ali Sabry slams Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau for accusing India
Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Sri Lanka has backed India in the Canada-India row. Ali Sabry, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister, said, ‘I saw a video of Trudeau honouring a man who fought for the Nazis in World War II. Some of the terrorists have found safe haven in Canada. I am not surprised that sometimes PM Trudeau comes out with outrageous and unsubstantiated allegations. He is habituated to making such accusations. He did the same with Sri Lanka when he said Sri Lanka had a genocide, but everyone knows there was no genocide in our country. We are not very happy about his statement at all ‘.
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry, reacting to the India-Canada diplomatic row, said terrorists have found safe haven in Canada and their PM Justin Trudeau came out with the allegations without any proof.

Sabry added, ‘I don’t think anyone should poke their nose into other countries and tell us how we should govern our country. We love our country more than anyone else. That’s why we are in our country. We should not be dictated by anyone else as to how we should conduct our affairs.
