American expert’s advice to the US Government
New York (USA) – Participating in a panel discussion at the Hudson Institute think-tank, Michael Rubin, Senior Fellow at American Enterprise Institute, claimed that, “Justin Trudeau is playing into the hands of people who are looking at the Khalistani movement to boost their egos and profits. This action by Justin Trudeau is shameless and cynical. The US should not side with Trudeau in this case”.

Trudeau is playing with fire
Rubin claimed that Canada was taking contrasting stances towards India and Pakistan. He said that “the case of killing of a woman named Karima Baloch with the assistance of Pakistan is still pending in Canada. Trudeau has not taken a clear stance on it. So why is this discrimination being done? Trudeau may benefit in the long term but that is not what leadership is. He should act responsibly because he is playing with fire.”
Sikhs in the US do not support the Khalistani movement
Jassee Singh, the leader of the organisation ‘Sikhs of America’ said, “The Khalistani movement does not represent the voice of the majority of Sikhs in the US. Even Sikhs in India are not in favour of Khalistan. Today, Sikhs are in the Indian Army defending the nation, whether it is against China or Pakistan. There are 1 million Sikhs living here (in the US) and only a few of them, a very, very small percentage shows up for protests demanding Khalistan”.
