London (Britain) – The historic ‘India Club’, has been closed-down on the 17th of September 2023. This club was related to India’s Freedom Movement. Many Freedom Fighters as well as Revolutionaries had stayed here. They used to frequent this place. ’India Club’ was one of the Indian Restaurants in Britain and after India’s Independence, became a community centre for British South Asians. The Club Manager, Firoza Marker, who belongs to Parsi community, said that we may be closing the club, but we are looking for new premises to relocate it.
