London – In a recent interview, when asked about the previous targeting of the Indian High Commission in London by pro-Khalistani extremists, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said, We are working closely with our partners in the Indian Government to tackle the threat from pro-Khalistan extremism and the British Police are fully empowered to deal with violent acts. No form of extremism is acceptable in the UK, and I take the duty of the Government to disrupt and counter violent, divisive ideologies, whatever they may be, very seriously he added. We will work closely with India through its G20 Presidency to address the biggest challenges facing the world. The year 2023 is crucial for India said Sunak.
