Allahabad High Court takes cognisance of the attack on the Policewoman and holds a hearing at night

Prayagraj (UP) – After a video of a Policewoman lying in a pool of blood in Ayodhya Saryu Express went viral on social media, the Allahabad High Court took its cognisance and constituted a special Bench on 3rd September at 9 p.m. at the Government guesthouse. The Bench had ordered the Uttar Pradesh Government and the Railway Police to reply on 4th September. The details of the action taken so far have been sought from Public Prosecutor AK Sand and he has been asked to be present in the Court. Accordingly, both of them answered during the Court hearing on 4th September. The Police informed that the accused have been identified and teams have been formed to nab them. The next hearing will be held on 13th September.

This woman constable had no clothes below her waist. It looked like she had been stabbed in the face. This incident took place on 30th August. The Policewoman is in critical condition due to excessive bleeding. Currently, she is undergoing treatment at KGMU Hospital, Lucknow. The victim was apparently not raped.
