Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) – Unknown assailant killed Sri Bhuteshwar Temple’s priest mercilessly. After killing, the dead body was thrown away in the bushes near the temple. The priest had been residing in a room inside the temple since March 2021. His name was Sunil Das and he was from Maharashtra. This incident caused commotion in the area. Shimla Police have filed the report of the murder and are in search of the criminals.
Priest Das had suspiciously disappeared on 8th of August. His dead body was found on 12th of August in the bushes 15 meters away from the temple. The dead body of the of the priest had marks of injuries. The dead body was handed over to the relatives after postmortem. The Police have assured that the investigation is on and the murderers will be arrested very soon.
