
Shivamogga (Karnataka) – A priest associated with a Diocese-run college, Francis Fernandes was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor Hindu girl. The Father was booked under the POSCO Act, produced before the Court, and sent for 14 days of judicial custody. Bajrang Dal activists protested outside the Police station and demanded strict action against Fernandes.
