Rocket attack on Hindu Temple in Pakistan (Credit : India TV News)
Karachi (Pakistan) – In the last 48 hours, 2 Hindu Temples were attacked in Pakistan. One temple was demolished while there was gun firing and rockets attack on the other temple. Pakistani Seema Haider a mother of 4 children sneaked into India to be with her Indian lover. She has also accepted the Hindu religion. So the Pakistani robbers threatened, ‘Return Seema to Pakistan else Pakistani Hindus and their temples will be attacked.’ It is being said that this is why temples are being attacked. Police too have said that the robber gangs are responsible for this attack.

On 17th of July at Kashmora in Sindh Province of Pakistan a Hindu temple was attacked with rockets and gunfire. After firing at the temple, the attackers ran away. Police said as the temple was closed when the firing occurred there were no causalities. The attackers fired at the Hindus’ homes near the temple.
The Bagdi community is incharge of the administration of the temple. Dr Suresh of the Bagdi community said there was no damage to life, as the rockets launched into the temple did not explode. There is an atmosphere of fear here. The Police should provide security to the Hindus.
On the 15th of July, Karachi’s Mari Mata Temple was bulldozed and demolished. It is said that the land it stood on was sold for Rs 5 crore, hence it was torn down. Before this, the temple Idols were broken and destroyed.

It is said that the Tamilian Hindus were in-charge of the administration of the temple. This temple was very old and it could have collapsed at any time. Therefore, the Idols were removed temporarily to another place. Hindus expected that when the temple was rebuilt they would be reinstalled. There was an old story of hidden buried treasure in the temple premises
Thirty Hindus kidnapped by robbersPakistan’s Human Rights Commission has said that we are worried about the law and order situation in Kasmora and Ghotaki Districts. Here 30 Hindus including women and children have been kidnapped by robbers. The home department of Sindh Province should investigate this matter immediately.
