Agitating Hindus against the injustice towards students

Navi Mumbai – Six students have been expelled from the Saint Lawrence English Medium School, in Vashi for shouting slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’. As a protest against the above action workers of other political parties along with Students’ Sena (‘Manavise’) and Hindu organisations held agitations in front of the school. Police were deployed there to control the situation. Out of fear, no parents or students were prepared to speak against the expulsion of students, but no sooner the issue was posted through social media everyone became furious. On the morning of 14th June, office-bearers and workers of Manavise, BJP, Sakal Hindu Samaj and Shivpratishthan Hindustan raised slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’. Demand was made to re-admit the six students with an immediate apology by the school. Looking at the seriousness of the agitators the school also apologised immediately. (This is the effect of unity among Hindus. – Editor) the school administration stated in the apology that the students creating commotion in the interval were made to realise the seriousness of their action. They apologised saying that they were sorry for hurting sentiments unintentionally. They would take care not to cause any educational harm to the students.

Editorial perspectives

  • Action on Hindu students for shouting slogans of ‘Jai Shriram’ is akin to an attempt of suppressing Hindu voice.
  • Please note that not a single word is uttered at those shouting anti-national slogans.
