New Delhi – The Supreme Court refused to entertain an interlocutory application (IA) challenging the release of the movie ’The Kerala Story’. The Court further observed that an IA is not an appropriate remedy to challenge the release of a movie.

The application was filed by Kerala’s Ruling Communist Government saying that the movie “is the worst instance of hate speech” and that it was “audio-visual hate propaganda”. The Love Jihad conspiracy in Kerala in which 32,000 Hindu and Christian girls were entrapped into falling in love, and then sent to ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), the film on this true story will be released on the 5th of May.
