Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Kerala Chief Minister (CM) Pinarayi Vijayan criticised the film ‘The Kerala Story’ as a film made to propagate and politically benefit RSS in the elections, although it is based on the true incidents in the lives of Christian and Hindu girls in Kerala.

CM Vijayan said,

1. ‘The Kerala Story’ film appears to have been deliberately made with the aim of communal polarisation and spreading hate propaganda against Kerala. This film is made for RSS propaganda and in Kerala, which is a secular land. This film has the ideological support of the BJP and RSS.

2. It is a film made in the background of various attempts made by RSS for canvassing and gaining political benefit in the Kerala elections. It is a part of the plan made to strengthen the accusation of the existence of Love Jihad.

3. The investigation agencies, Court, and the Union Home Ministry have already refuted the claim of the existence of Love Jihad. The then State Home Minister G Kishen Reddy, who is presently a cabinet minister, had stated in a written reply in the Parliament that there was nothing like Love Jihad.

4. RSS is spreading a myth of Love Jihad without any proof. Claiming that 32,000 women adopted Islam and joined Islamic State is a big falsehood. We saw the trailer of this film. The false story is a product of ‘Sangh Parivar’s lie factory.

Editorial Viewpoint

Please note that ‘The Kerala Story’ is based on true incidents, and it will expose to the world the real conditions in Kerala. Therefore, the communist Kerala Government is scared leading to such criticism by Kerala CM. Hindu and Christian girls from Kerala, caught in the trap of ‘Love Jihad’, reach a country like Syria which is the truth, still, the CM of one State is saying it to be untrue and defaming democracy.
