Noida (UP) – A video of the bar ‘Lord of the Drinks Resto’ located in the ‘Garden Galleria Mall (major shopping complex)’  has gone viral on social media. Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan serial is being remixed and shown at a drinks party. At that time, some people are seen dancing and singing. The battle scene between Shriram and Ravan in the serial is visible on the big screen. Music is also playing along with the dialogues of the serial. In this case, the Noida Police self-registered a complaint and arrested the owner of the bar Manak Agarwal and the manager Abhishek Soni, while the search is on for the ‘DJ’ (Disc Jockey) who played the music.

The video was posted on Twitter. In it, the Police were tagged and written, ‘Hindu Dharma is being openly mocked in Noida. Take immediate action on this, otherwise, they (bar owners) will be responsible for vandalism.’

Editorial Viewpoint

In Hindu-majority India, as there is no strict law against blasphemy, mockery and denigration of  Hindu Dharma, Deities, scriptures, Saints and national leaders, occur openly ! To prevent this, the Government should immediately make a law to clamp down on such incidents !
