Hina Sheikh arrested in Surat for drug trafficking

Surat (Gujarat) – Hina Sheikh, a Muslim woman, was arrested by the Police on a drug smuggling charge. 507 grams of the prohibited drug ‘Mephedrone’ have been seized from her. The total cost of these drugs is said to be more than Rs 50 lakh. Hina Sheikh has been managing her husband’s business ever since he was jailed.

According to a report by a news agency, the Police were tipped off that a woman wearing burkha, was dealing in drugs. Acting on this tipoff the Police raided her house and arrested her.
