Assembly in Georgia (US) passes resolution condemning Hinduphobia

Georgia (US) – The US Georgia Assembly has passed a resolution condemning Hinduphobia, making it the first American State to take such a legislative measure. The resolution was introduced by Representatives Lauren McDonald and Todd Jones from Forsyth County in the suburbs of Atlanta.

The resolution says that Hindu Dharma is the largest and the oldest religion in the world. There are more than 120 crore followers of this religion living in more than 100 countries. Hindus have made valuable contributions in the areas such as medicine, science, engineering, information and technology, hospitality, economics, education, energy and business.

Similarly, their contribution in Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, diet, music, art has enriched the culture. The US accepted it. Some educationists have given a form to Hinduphobia. Their acts lead to the destroyal of Hindu Dharma and they criticised the Holy books of Hindus.
