Washington (America) – Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson of US Department of State said at a press conference, “We condemn the recent violent incidents that have taken place during protests at Indian diplomatic facilities in the United States. We support the First Amendment rights of protesters and engagement in free speech activities. However, violence or the threat of violence is never an acceptable form of protest,”.

He was responding to a question about the attack by Khalistanis on the Indian Embassy in San Francisco. India had expressed its disapproval to the US Department of State.
