Students forced to recite Christian prayers, School apologises
Jodhpur (Rajasthan) – In an outrageous incident which took place in Congress-ruled Rajasthan, the Administration of Mahesh Public School in Sardarpura area of Jodhpur took its students to a Church under the pretext of a tour. It is alleged that the children were made to recite Christian prayers in the Church. The parents of the students expressed their displeasure after learning about this incident. Facing flak from society, the school’s administration issued an apology.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad and other Hindu organisations have demanded action against the Administration of this school. Apart from this, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Mahendra Singh has said that it is inappropriate to force students to pray in the Church without the consent of their parents. He had also demanded an unconditional apology from the school’s Administration.
