Refers to all Congress workers as ‘Bharat’

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Congress leader Salman Khurshid compared Rahul Gandhi with Shriram while addressing a press conference at Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, held in the context of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’; besides, comparing other Congressmen with ‘Bharat (Shriram’s brother)’.

1. He said further that people are freezing in this severe cold. We wear jackets to protect us from cold, but Rahul Gandhi is managing with just a T-shirt in this severe winter in his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Rahul Gandhi is a yogi.

2. Khurshid also said that Prabhu Shriram could not reach everywhere; therefore, Bharat used to take His ‘khadau (wooden sleepers)’ where Shriram could not go. Similarly, we have reached Uttar Pradesh with the ‘khadau’ and believe Prabhu Shriram will also reach there.

3. Rahul Gandhi is leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ of Congress that was started on the 7^th of September 2022 from Kanyakumari. It has passed through different States, viz. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi. After about eight days break, it will be resumed and go through Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab, and will lastly, move towards Jammu-Kashmir.

• Why Salman Khurshid has to use Hindu Deities for glorifying Rahul Gandhi ? Why doesn’t he compare Rahul Gandhi with the seats of worship from his own religion ? He, however, knows the repercussions of doing so, therefore, he avoids comparing and saying anything about his own religion !
• Congress has no right to use the name of Shriram when it challenged the very existence of Prabhu Shriram through its affidavit filed in the Court, calling Shriram an imaginary character !
