Replace Gandhiji’s image with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Indian currency notes !

Demand by Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha !

Criticism by Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress

Kolkata (Bengal) – Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) has demanded to replace the picture of Mahatma Gandhi with the picture of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Indian currency notes.

Chandrachur Goswami, the Executive President of ABHM for Bengal, said that Netaji’s contribution to the freedom fight was no less than the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi. It would be the best way to honour Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.  BJP’s Spokesperson in Bengal, Samik Bhattacharya said that such demand should not be looked at from a particular community or religious point of view.

Trinamool Congress has alleged BJP’s hand in the demand of ABHM and criticised BJP, advising it to stop divisive politics in Bengal.

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that Gandhiji played an important role in the freedom fight of this country. (Why doesn’t Chaudhari clarify regarding the contribution of Netaji ? The people of this country feel that Gandhi played an important role even in the partition of India, followed by the massacre of ten lakh Hindus ! – Editor) Everyone knows who was responsible for the assassination of the Father of the Nation’. (After Gandhi’s assassination, Swatantryaveer  Savarkar was unnecessarily dragged into it by the Congressmen. Later, even after his acquittal by the Court, the Congressmen keep accusing him even today of a crime not committed by Swa. Savarkar. Will the Congressmen give their reason for it ? -Editor) Presently, Gandhiji’s ideals are murdered every day. (Every Indian is observing that the ideals set by Gandhiji are murdered largely by Congress ! – – Editor)

ABHM to contest Panchayat polls

Chandrachur Goswami said that ABHM has decided to contest the forthcoming Panchayat polls in Bengal. He said that Hindus were attacked every day in the State. Neither the ruling TMC nor BJP has been able to protect Hindus. ABHM would fight for Hindus’ rights. He also clarified that ABHM did not support BJP’s demand for Bengal’s partition. (In fact, why should one have to demand such things ? Shouldn’t the Government take action on its own in this connection ? – Editor)
