In the last eight years, the Central Government has not submitted an affidavit declaring Ram Setu as a National Heritage
New Delhi – The Central Government has not filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court regarding the declaration of Ram Setu as a National Heritage for the past 8 years. Senior BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy filed a plea in this regard.
Today in SC before Justice Chandrachud I made a brief submission on Ram Setu Heritage issue stating for last 8 years Modi govt has not filed an affidavit in Court on whether or not Govt will declare Ram Setu as a Heritage. Court asked Govt adv to explain and to file affidavit.

During the hearing, the Court ordered the Government to file a reply in this regard and ordered it to give its copy to Dr Swamy.
