Rahul Gandhi absent at the unveiling of the monument of revolutionaries

Congress has apologised

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Monuments of revolutionaries K.E.Mammen and Padmashri P Gopinathan Nair were to be unveiled in the NIMS hospital in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi of Congress was invited for the same. But he failed to attend it.

Therefore Sudhakaran the Chief of the Kerala Congress Committee had to apologise to the relatives of those revolutionaries. Congress MP Shashi Tharur and MM Hasan were present on the occasion.

Editorial viewpoint

Gandhi – Nehru families have always insulted revolutionaries. So the absence of Rahul Gandhi on such an occasion was not a wonder. Instead of apologising Congress should try to honour revolutionaries as atonement.
