Madarasas to be demolished if involved in anti-national activities !

Guwahati (Assam) – Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made it clear that such madarasas would be razed down which were used for anti-national activities as per the Government’s information. He was talking about the 3 madarasas which were demolished during the last few days in Assam because of their connection with terrorists.

CM Sarma said further that there was no other purpose for demolishing madarasas. Only it has to be clear that they were not used by jihadis. Even earlier, CM Sarma had made statements regarding madarasas. He had said that madarasas were used for terrorist training centres rather than for imparting proper education.

Editorial viewpoint

Patriotic citizens of this country expect similar action from the Chief Minister of every State ! In fact, madarasas should be closed down when there is a proper education system existing in this country !
