Udaipur (Rajasthan) – Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot met the victim Kanhaiya Lal’s family members while visiting their house on 30th June. While paying homage to Kanhaiya Lal he said the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had started their investigation of the incident. The State wanted that the killers should be hanged within a month and they were going to discuss the same with the Centre. At that time Chief Secretary Usha Varma gave a cheque of Rs 50 Lakh to Kanhaiya Lal’s wife.
मुझे उम्मीद है NIA त्वरित कार्रवाई करके जितनी हो उतनी जल्दी सजा दिलवाए इनको, ये अपेक्षा पूरे प्रदेशवासियों की और मैं समझता हूं पूरे देशवासी चाहते हैं। इस घटना को लेकर जो आक्रोश दिलों में पैदा हुआ है हर नागरिक चाहता है त्वरित न्याय मिले,त्वरित कार्रवाई हो और जल्द से जल्द सजा मिले।

The Superintendent of Police and Inspector General transferred
