1. According to a Police official, no injuries were found on the bodies of the dead children. The bodies are currently being sent for autopsy. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the death was due to poisoning. We are also assuming that there may have been a stampede in which the students died.
2. Consuming alcohol is permitted only above 18 years, an official said. School children’s presence in the club in such a situation is questionable. People sometimes don’t follow the law. The administration will discuss whether to revise liquor licensing regulations.
3. The province’s PM, Oscar Mabuyane, said alcohol consumption was dangerous. It is wrong to sell liquor in the central part of the city openly.
