Negative energies are more active on days such as Amavasya (New Moon day) and Pournima (Full Moon day). Therefore, distressing energies are more active in the environment on these days.
Among the five sense organs, we use our eyes to the maximum to comprehend all things around us; hence, the eyes get charged with good and bad vibrations. Since distressing energies are more active in the environment on Amavasya and Pournima, our eyes get charged with distressing vibrations at the subtle level. Hence, our eyes experience distresses such as heaviness, dullness, darkness before the eyes, etc.
If we do not remove this covering on the eyes in time, the distressing energy enters our physical body and the Kundalini-chakras get laden with it. This aspect also creates a covering on the other organs of the body. Therefore, to prevent increase in distress on Amavasya and Pournima, if you experience a covering on the eyes, then it should be removed promptly.

Note :
‘Subtle’ is that which is beyond the comprehension of the five sense organs, mind and intellect. People who have progressed spiritually can perceive the subtle vibrations. Various Scriptures contain reference to subtle knowledge. Spiritual distress The negative energies cause distress in various ways to those who perform sadhana (Spiritual practice). Various Scriptures such as the Vedas have recommended spiritual remedies to ward off such distresses. In Sanatan’s Texts, the terms ‘negative energies’ or ‘spiritual distress’ have been used in some places keeping this in mind. Information and research regarding the existence of negative energies is available on thousands of websites. Spiritual distress : This means that the individual has negative vibrations. If the individual has more than 50% negative vibrations, it denotes ‘severe’ distress. If the negative vibrations are between 30 and 49%, it denotes ‘moderate’ distress; if the negative vibrations are less than 30%, it denotes ‘mild’ distress. Spiritual distress is caused by spiritual reasons such as destiny, distress due to departed ancestors, etc. |
