Srinagar (J&K) – The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended about 15 professors and non-teaching staff from the University of Kashmir for having links with terrorists. In addition, 24 people will receive counseling. Mohammed Hussain Pandit, a chemistry professor at the University, has already been dismissed. He is believed to have been close to separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and has been linked to extreme separatists in the University. The Kashmir University Teachers Union has been found to be working to establish a network between terrorists and separatists.
