Chennai – On 1st April 2022, seekers of Sanatan Sanstha met Adv. K Parasaran (Age 94), senior SC Advocate who was also the lead counsel for Hindus in the Ramjanmabhoomi case and felicitated him.

Sanatan’s Saint H.H. Pattabhiraman Prabhakaran felicitated Adv. K Parasaran and offered him a shawl, a coconut, a gift and Tamil Holy texts published by Sanatan Sanstha. In addition, Sanatan’s Saint H.H. (Mrs) Uma Ravichandran presented him a picture of Prabhu Shriram. K Parasaran’s bhav (Spiritual emotion) was awakened when he looked at the sattvik picture of Shriram. Sanatan’s seekers – Mr Balaji Kolla and Mr Ganesh Radhakrishnan – were also present during the felicitation ceremony and subsequent interaction with the legendary lawyer.

Later, Adv. K Parasaran blessed the seekers and offered them a picture of the Shriram Temple, which is being built at Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh). During their interaction, Adv. K Parasaran shared his spiritual experiences while fighting the Ramjanmabhoomi case in the Court.

Unique virtues of Adv. K Parasaran

1. Enthusiastic : Considering his old age, the Honourable Judge of the Supreme Court suggested to Adv. K Parasaran that he could remain seated and argue the case; however, he did not take this luxury, but kept standing and presented his arguments.

In a bhav-enriched manner during the meeting with Sanatan’s seekers, he said, “During this protracted legal battle, I always felt very enthusiastic”.

2. Polite : Despite his old age and immense experience in the legal field, he is remarkably polite.

Some spiritual experiences of Adv. K Parasaran during the hearing of the Ramjanmabhoomi case

1. A horizontal file caught his attention among a stack of files while searching for a file that could have the necessary references to answer a question posed by the opposition; in addition, the required page in this horizontal file also opens effortlessly : During a hearing once, the opposition asked, “Was there any maternity ward in King Dashrath’s palace ?” The Honourable Judge asked me to submit the required details.

I had a lot of files on the Ramjanmabhoomi case with me. I was thinking of some efficient way of getting the required references from the stack of files. At that very moment, I noticed that all files, except one, were stacked vertically, and I immediately asked my assistant to fetch that horizontal file.

When I opened the file, the page which had the necessary references (to the question posed by the opposition) got opened. (While narrating this incident in a bhav-enriched manner, Adv. K Parasaran said, “Mere words cannot do justice to this episode; it can only be experienced”. – Editor)

The next day, the Honourable Supreme Court delivered the landmark judgement in favour of Hindus and declared – ‘Shriram Janmabhoomi belongs to Shriram !’

2. A troop of monkeys danced joyfully at the residence of Adv. K Parasaran : A troop of monkeys came close to my residence in Delhi on the third day of the SC’s historic judgement. Later, I saw them dancing happily on the terrace. I did not quite realise how I presented the facts to the Court during this protracted legal battle. (Adv. K Parasaran had bhav that – ‘Only Shriram made this possible’. – Editor)
