Azaan recitation to take place without loudspeakers in 26 mosques in Mumbai

Mumbai – The Muslim religious priests of 26 mosques from Madanpura, Nagpada and Agrapada decided to recite Azaan without using the loudspeakers.

They held a meeting on 4^th May and decided to obey the Supreme Court’s order about the loudspeakers. After this meeting, the loudspeakers were not used for Azaan in the famous Minar Mosque in Mumbai on the 4^th and 5^th of May.

If the mosques make use of the loudspeakers, Raj Thackeray has appealed to the temples in their vicinity to use the loudspeakers at a higher volume.
