Next hearing will follow after a couple of weeks in the Supreme Court

New Delhi – The Supreme Court has extended the stay order issued against the action taken over encroachments in Jahangirpuri on 20th April. The Court has clarified that such encroachments are demolished with bulldozers and the action cannot be stopped in the entire country.

The Court issued a stay order over litigation filed against actions in Jahangirpuri. The stay was further extended on 21st April while setting the follow-up date two weeks later. This order will not impact the ongoing actions being taken against encroachments in UP and MP.
