New Delhi – On 16^th March Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Mohammad Khalid Moin a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia University for accepting 1 lakh rupees in bribes. CBI also arrested two accomplices of Mohammad Khalid Moin namely Abid Khan and Prakhar Pawar. They both were working for a private company at Okhla in New Delhi.

Professor Mohammad Khalid Moin was involved in many fraudster activities along with representatives of different private builders, architects, and middlemen who were also part of the conspiracy. They were involved in issuing bogus structural stability certificates for different construction projects after accepting the bribe. CBI spokesperson R.C.Joshi said that Khalid Moin was arrested red-handed accepting bribes along with these accomplices in a trap laid by the CBI.
