New Delhi – There is no need to worry about the deluge of terrorists from Afghanistan and Pakistan into Kashmir, said Lt. Gen. DP Pandey. He said there had been no ceasefire violation across the Kashmir Valley border since February. Only two infiltration attempts by terrorists have been successful this year. One soldier was injured in the incident. We are ready to respond to any movement from across the border, he said.

Pakistani terrorists’ shrewd strategies
There are currently 60 to 70 Pakistani militants in the Kashmir Valley. Their aim is not to attack but to give weapons to local youth and motivate them to attack. It will keep them safe and kill local youth in an encounter. When a young boy from Kashmir is killed, the terrorists benefit in a way that the families of the Indian youth get angry with the Army, said Lt Gen. Pandey
