Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – The first phase of the construction of Shriram Mandir on Shriram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya has been completed. The foundation of Shriram Mandir is complete. The second phase of the temple will be completed in two months, informed Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shriram Janmabhoomi Shrine Trust.

Champat Rai said that the Shriram Temple will be 360 feet long, 235 feet wide and 161 feet high. The temple will have 3 floors. There will be 160 pillars on the ground floor, 132 on the first floor and 74 on the second floor. The temple has one main peak and 5 sub-peaks and the same number of pavilions. In addition, there will be 11 sub-gates with one main gate. When the temple is completed, it will be 2.75 acres and the entire area of the temple will be 6.5 acres. The Shriram Janmabhoomi Trust has an area of approximately 100 acres. Devotees from all over the country have donated an estimated Rs 4,000 crore for the construction of the temple. Rs 15 lakh is added every month.
