Earlier there would be no generation gaps. Every generation blended perfectly with earlier generation. From great grandfather to great grand children, all stayed together. Since Hindus have adopted western culture now, there is no blending of successive generations such as father-mother and son-daughter in-law. Now, even husband and wife cannot get along. They get divorced soon after their marriage.
