Hand grenade found in an elite residential area of Amritsar

Amritsar (Punjab) – A hand grenade was found in Amritsar’s elite residential area Ranjit Avenue. Police and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad diffused the grenade. The cleaning employee found the grenade while cleaning the area. The Intelligence agencies had warned earlier that there could be terrorist attacks on the occasion of Independence Day.
