Lockdown in Guangdong
Beijing (China) – China, where Covid-19 was first detected, has detected a resurgence of Covid-19 in Guangdong Province.
Reuters states that as on the 31st May, 23 new Covid-19 cases were detected and 27 new cases were found on the 30th May, out of which 12 patients were from south Guangdong. This area is bordering Hong Kong, so there is a partial lockdown. Guangzhou, the Capital city of the Province, is under strict lockdown.

Global Times, the official news media of China stated that the infection is spreading rapidly in Guangzhou. So all the Malls, markets, child care centres, educational institutions, restaurants, etc. have been closed to break the infection chain.
