38,000 sq. kms. of Ladakh area under China control : Govt. in Parliament

The people expect that instead of giving such information, Government, should take military action directly to liberate the Ladakh area from Chinese control.

India did not make any attempts in the past 58 years to take back the country’s area of  thousands of square kilometers which has been usurped by the enemy country !

New Delhi – “China disputes the international boundary between India and China. In the eastern sector, China claims approximately 90,000 sq. kms. of Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh. Indian territory under the occupation of China in Ladakh is approximately 38,000 sq. kms.”, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs V Muraleedharan informed Parliament.

He added that under the so-called ‘Boundary Agreement’ signed between China and Pakistan on 2nd March 1963, Pakistan illegally ceded 5,180 sq. kms. of Indian territory in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to China. Responding to a written question in Lok Sabha, the Government also called upon Pakistan to desist from making attempts to bring any ‘material change’ in J&K and Ladakh. (Will Pakistan ever behave by just warnings and return the part of Kashmir occupied by it ? India should take direct military action and recapture the area occupied by Pakistan. – Editor)

“India’s consistent and principled position is that Arunachal Pradesh and the entire Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have been, are and shall be an integral part of India. This fact has been clearly conveyed to the Chinese side on several occasions”, the Minister of State V Muraleedharan said. (Will China agree by just conveying India’s claims ? Patriots expect that India adopt an offensive policy to take back the usurped area. – Editor)

Replying to a separate query, V Muraleedharan said the Government was monitoring all developments taking place in Indian territories, including in territories under Pakistan’s illegal and forcible occupation. (Simply monitoring the activities of the enemy country is of no use. Strict action is necessary against such acts of Pakistan. – Editor)
