Prayagraj (UP) – Traveling to Maha kumbha Mela at Prayagraj by air has become unaffordable for devotees. Airlines have increased the airfare from ₹5,000 to as high as ₹22,000. Starting from 10th January, special flight services to Prayagraj will begin. From 10th January, the airfare from Pune to Prayagraj will be ₹27,000, from Bengaluru ₹19,000, and from Mumbai ₹18,000.Even if 4-5 family members plan to go to Prayagraj, the total cost for airfare alone will be around ₹1 lakh. Devotees are unhappy with the airlines’ arbitrary pricing.
Special flight services to Prayagraj starting 10th January from the following cities :
New Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Amritsar, Dehradun, Lucknow, Guwahati, Kolkata, Bilaspur, Raipur, Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad.
