Mandya (Karnataka) – Sri Ram Sena chief Pramod Muthalik was stopped by the Police at Nidghatta in Madduru taluka on the District border, while on his way to meet the Hindu youths of Badrikoppalu village lodged at the Mandya District jail , who were arrested in the riots in Nagamangala. Talking to the media about this, Muthalik said, “Dr Ambedkar has given us freedom through the Constitution. If anything happens after my visit to Mandya, file a case against me; but to stop us in this way, is an unforgivable crime. Ever since the Congress Government came to power, Hindus have been oppressed continuously. Incidents at Nagamangala and Davanagere are proof of this. Today they hoist the flag of Palestine, tomorrow they will hoist the flag of Pakistan. Police should take strict action against such people.” He also asked why such flags are hoisted during Eid-e-Milad.
