Bangladesh’s situation is a warning bell for Hindus in India : Retired Commander (Dr) Bhushan Dewan

Mumbai – The dire situation of Hindus in democratic Bangladesh today serves as a warning bell for Hindus in India, stated Retired Commander (Dr) Bhushan Dewan. He was speaking at an event organised on 1st September in Jogeshwari to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Vishva Hindu Parishad.

He further said that Hindus are being selectively targeted and killed in Bangladesh. When injustices are committed against Hindus, the perpetrators do not differentiate between Brahmins, Vaishyas, Shudras, Jats, or Marathas; they see only Hindus and act accordingly. A similar situation could arise in India in the coming years. Therefore, Hindus need to stay united as Hindus without getting entangled in caste divisions like Brahmin, Vaishya, Kshatriya, Jat, or Maratha. Hindus do not attack anyone; the Hindu philosophy is based on the idea of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family). However, if someone takes advantage of this and tries to destroy us, we must be prepared to face them. Hindus are the children of Goddess Bhavani. A Hindu does not provoke anyone, but if provoked, they do not let it go.
