1.Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir stated to reporters that India’s actions in harboring Sheikh Hasina seem inconsistent with democratic principles. He claimed that Sheikh Hasina is exploiting her stay in India to orchestrate plans against the ongoing protests in Bangladesh.
2.Fakhrul Islam Alamgir added that the people of Bangladesh view Sheikh Hasina’s actions with serious concern. He criticized her tenure, claiming that Bangladesh accumulated a debt of 18 lakh crore rupees and that approximately 1,000 crore dollars were embezzled. He also alleged that her rule led to the destruction of the country’s institutions.
3.A case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and 23 others with Bangladesh’s International Criminal Authority. This marks the fourth case against her by the authority. Supreme Court Advocate M.H. Tamim stated that an arrest notice will be issued for the accused following the preliminary investigation.
