Brutal attack on Shri Vitthal devotees in Belagavi

Belagavi, Karnataka – 3 devotees of Shri Vitthal, who had gone to Pandharpur from Belagavi for darshan, were brutally attacked on 20^thJuly 2024 at Malgaon, Tal. Miraj, Dist. Sangli.  The attackers were under the influence of alcohol. The injured Suresh Rajukar, Parashuram Jadhav and their driver have been admitted to hospital.

The devotees while returning from Pandharpur got lost and reached Malgaon instead of Belagavi . A four-wheeler crossed their way and few persons in that vehicle came out and started arguing with the devotees. Later, they called all other co-travellers and thrashed the devotees.
