Four thousand Indian nurses will have to return to India due to negligence of the British Government

British Government had given licences to fake companies

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak

London (Britain) – The British Government has been accused of issuing licences to hundreds of companies without proper investigation, even though sponsoring licenses are required to employ foreigners in Britain. The Government issued 268 licences to companies that had never paid their income tax, so also many of those companies were fake. 4,000 Indian nurses have been affected by this negligence of the Government. The fake companies that were licensed, had brought these nurses from India to Britain.

Now the Government is taking action against these nurses. This decision will affect more than 7,000 nurses of which 4,000 are from India. 94% of the cases have come to light due to the deregistration of companies by the Government.

Nurses are the victims of blunders of the Government

According to Ake Achi, founder of ‘Migrant at Work’, an NGO helping migrants, Indians borrow lakhs of rupees while leaving the country in search of opportunities. These were the people who followed the rules. They are being punished for no fault of theirs. First, they were the victims of debt worth lakhs of rupees and now they are the victims of the mistakes of the British Government.
