Rome (Italy) – Pope Francis, the supreme Pontiff of Christians, has expressed concern over the population crisis in Italy and Europe. He said that Italians should have more children. He also criticised the contraceptives business.
The Pope added,
1. The number of births is the first ray of hope. Any country without its children and youth loses its will for a brighter future.
2. A long-term political strategy is needed to encourage couples to have children.
3. Policies should be designed to enable women to have both motherhood and ‘career’ (future). The Pope also called for simplifying the way of working, as well as removing barriers to buying a home.
4. Homes in Europe are filled with stuff; but they are empty for lack of children.

Why are the secularists, who vehemently attack Hindus if they make a similar appeal, silent over the Pope’s statement ? |
