Delhi Police bust fake Indian masala factories

15 tonnes of adulterated spices seized

New Delhi – Delhi Police have seized 15 tonnes of spurious spices from factories in Karawal Nagar, arresting three individuals, two involved in the production and one in the supply of adulterated spices.

1. The Cyber ​​Cell of the Delhi Police Crime Branch received information that some manufacturers in North-east Delhi were producing and selling adulterated Indian spices.

2. A Police team raided 2 companies manufacturing fake Indian spices. In the first raid, accused Dilip Singh and Khurshid Malik were arrested.

3. In this raid, adulterated turmeric powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder and other raw materials have been seized.

4. While in the second raid on another company, Sarfraz was arrested who was involved in the production of adulterated spices. (Muslims, though a minority in the population, are a majority in crime – Editor).
