Forced conversion of Hindu girls in Pakistan

Sindh’s Nationalist Leader demands intervention of Human Rights Organisations

Karachi (Pakistan) – Chairman of the ‘Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement’ (JSFM) and Nationalist Leader of Sindh Sohail Abro has condemned the forced conversion of Hindu girls in Pakistan. Abro appealed to international human rights organisations to intervene for the safe release of Priya Kumari, a Hindu girl who went missing from Sindh two years ago.

Under the influence of terrorists in Pakistan, Sindhi Hindu girls are being forcefully converted and married to Muslim men. Abro alleged that terrorists like Mian Mithu are openly abusing Hindu girls, forcefully converting them and marrying them off to Muslim men. He has also criticised the judiciary for taking sides against those accused of such atrocities and demanded justice for victimised Hindu girls like Priya Kumari.
