New Delhi – Houthi terrorists of Yemen attacked the ship travelling to India in the Red Sea. The ship named ‘Andromeda Star’ was transporting fuel to India. The report states that the ship suffered minor damage in this attack.

This ship belongs to Britain and has continued its journey even after the attack. It will arrive at Vadinar in Gujarat.

India suffers losses due to such attacks
80% of India’s trade happens through sea. Also, 90% of fuel also enters India through the same lanes. Attacks on sea lanes directly affect India’s trade. Diesel supply from India to Europe has reached its lowest level in the last two years. It has decreased approximately by 90 %. Freight charges from Asia to the European Union and Britain have increased.
