New Delhi – On 22nd January, slogans advocating ‘Justice for Babri’, ‘Fight for Babri’, and ‘Boycott for Babri’ were raised within the premises of Jamia Millia Islamia University. The video capturing these events has gone viral on social media platforms. Additionally, another video depicted a skirmish between two opposing groups. Allegedly, chants threatening to excavate the grave of Deity Shriram on the grounds of Jamia were heard (“Ram teri kabra khudegi, Jamia ki dharti par”). Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Dev, stated that this incident occurred within the university, prompting the deployment of Police personnel outside the campus. As of now, the situation here appears to be calm.

Editorial Perspective

Despite the construction of the Shriram Temple in Ayodhya, the influence of demon-like figures, metaphorically similar to Ravan, persists in the country. To counter such influences, there is a need for the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra, a Ram Rajya, in the country. Achieving this goal necessitates the unity and collective stance of Hindus.
