Bengaluru (Karnataka) – “I have built a Shriram temple in my village. I did not build it for political reasons. Is the Shriram in Ayodhya different from Shriram in villages across India ? BJP is playing politics over Deity Shriram. Congress party worships M Gandhi’s Shriram, while the BJP is taking Shriram away from Seeta, Lakshman and Hanuman”, criticised Karnataka’s Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while talking to reporters after inaugurating a Shriram temple.
Siddaramaiah added, “No politics should happen over Shriram, because Shriram belongs to everyone. He does not belong to the BJP. I am also a devotee of Shriram. BJP is trying to portray that we are against Shriram, but that is untrue. I shall visit Ayodhya at a suitable time for Darshan.”
