Mysuru – The murti which has been selected for pran-pratishtha in Shriram Temple, Ayodhya, has taken 6 months to complete. Sculptor Arun Yogiraj lived life of an ascetic during this period. His wife Vijeta said that in these 6 months, he was on sattvik (pure) diet. He ate fruits and sprouted grains. ‘It is a proud moment for our family’, she added.

1. Arun Yogiraj belongs to the 5 ^th generation of a sculptor family and started sculpting at the age of 11 years, since then, he is a part of the rich family tradition.

2. Vijeta said, ‘Arun is very talented, and we had hoped that his talent would be recognised and appreciated by the world.

3. While describing the murti made by Arun Yogiraj, she said, “The beautiful Shriram Lalla murti has the existence to divinity, one can feel that Shriram Lalla has returned to Ayodhya.”

4. Vijeta expressed her gratitude to the people across the country for their love and blessings. She said that she would visit Ayodhya, after the pran-pratishtha ceremony.
